I found myself with a good solid hour today, and with great weather too, so I decided it was time to test out this new drone build today.
If you are not familiar with this build, I posted recently that I built a new 3 inch drone. Used a recently released frame from Quadmula, the Siren F3 Split. It’s a sweet little drone, pretty quick and nimble. Its just what I am ready to start flying as my “daily flyer“.
I didn’t get much time with it today, but I managed to still find a way to get it stuck on my roof. So that was fun. Had to pull out the ladder and grab a rake. The props have already been swapped out for new ones. The Gemfan 3016-3 props that were originally installed where great and I would buy another set. I also picked up some HQ T3X2X3 props to try out to see if I like these better. We’ll see how that goes for next time.
I will have to get this new drone a proper flight sometime soon here. Need to find a local park I can rip some packs and get some flight time in.
